Post launch review: Karen Salmon Hypnotherapy

We had the pleasure of catching up with Karen today to find out how she was getting on with her business and what the impact of her site had been. As always it was an absolute pleasure - she’s such a positive force and hearing about the impact of her work and how much it means to her clients is enough to brighten up even the rainiest of lockdown days like today!

The impact of Juniper

Since launching to the world in early December the website has had over 300 unique visitors and nearly 600 page views - not bad going for such a short space of time! A third of the traffic came from Facebook, demonstrating the benefits of a comprehensive and cohesive digital strategy, followed by just under a third of visitors coming directly to the site and the remainder mostly finding it through Google. Around 68% of visitors accessed the site via their mobile proving the importance of cross-device compatibility, something we consider when building all our sites and ensure we include in our pre-launch testing. Karen also told us she’s received a healthy number of enquiries through her contact form - so much so that she’s now got a waiting list building and is fully booked with consultations.

What she’s planning next

Karen’s now planning to bolster her social media campaigns - she’s already mastered Facebook and has great engagement on her account (we recommend following it for the inspiring client stories she posts), but she now wants to build up her Instagram following and make sure she’s regularly posting on her blog. She’s thinking about how she can tie all these channels together to maximise her reach and improve her website SEO to ensure she’s getting even more engagement.

We were also thrilled to hear that Karen’s work was featured in the Daily Echo and she hopes to be able to share some of her advice in future articles and posts for local press and news as well as continuing to engage with local charities and organisations. Find out more on her blog!

We loved working with Karen and we are delighted that her site has had such a positive impact for her business. If like Karen you’ve started a business in lockdown and are building your online presence to showcase your services and share client feedback then get in touch. We offer flexible services and we’re happy to do as little or as much as you need - whether that’s building an entire site from scratch, tinkering with an existing site or helping you get your social media strategy up and running.
